Recently on a little jaunt to the new Marshalls and Homesense that opened near me - SUPER EXCITING! - I saw the City Color Collection Decadent Kiss Mauve Lip Trio and I was intrigued enough that I just had to pick it up. I've found some real winners from City Color in the past, particularly their matte blushes, so when I see something from the brand that looks really interesting to me, I just have to grab it. I've actually found some really great products at Winners and Marshalls by taking a chance on smaller brands, so I definitely think it's sometimes worth it to just pick up the things that look interesting.

If you were to ask me which brands in Sephora I think are most underrated, I would tell you it's Buxom Cosmetics. To be honest, I just feel like I don't hear enough about what the brand is doing, particularly considering how much I've really been enjoying their products for the past year. If you're a regular reader of the blog, you'll remember just how much I love their single eyeshadows and that I put together two custom palettes in 2016. Those palettes actually live on my vanity with a handful of my other favorite palettes and I still reach for them very consistently. Recently, I've been testing out the new Buxom Plumpline Lip Liners* and I've fallen a little bit in love.

If someone asks me about my favorites in any given makeup category, it's pretty rare that I can throw out a decisive favorite when it comes to specific products or brands. I just love too many things and I'm constantly reaching for and finding different favorite products. That said, if you ask me what my favorite brand for lip products is, I'm almost certainly going to tell you that it's BITE Beauty. It's been a few years since I first tried any BITE products and I've since been hooked. Of course, because of this, you can probably imagine how excited I was when I found out I was going to get a chance to try out the new BITE The Lip Pencil lip liners thanks to Influenster. I basically did a little dance.

So let us get to the reviews, shall we?

I saved my lip product favorites for 2016 for last because... well, it was probably the one I really had to think about the most. Out of my entire collection, the number of lip products I own at this point is actually kind of insane and there are so many that I love, so I really had to do a lot of swatching and trying on (My poor lips!) to really get to a lot of these favorites. I also decided to go with formula on a few of them because I own and love multiple shades of my favorite lip product formulas.

Without further ado....

So I have to admit...  I literally just picked up the Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Nude Lip set last night. However, since it completely sold out online in no time at all, I figured I should get this up while it's still in stores. I actually had to ask one of the girls at Sephora if they had this and she had to go out to the back and find one for me, which makes me suspect that these aren't actually on store shelves yet - which is GREAT! That means that after this post, you can head right out to Sephora and pick this set up!

I love Sephora Favorites sets. I feel like they're always a great value and packed with really great products. If I could justify it, I would actually probably buy all of them. This particular set comes with 5 nude lip products of various types, shades, and finishes. There are 2 full size items in this set and 3 deluxe samples - at least I think so, but I'll get into that as we look at the products!

So... Sometimes I like to peruse eBay and see what kinds of insane deals they have going on there and sometimes, mostly out of curiosity and insanely low prices including Free Shipping, I decide to order some of those things. Since I do that, I wanted to make a new feature on my blog called eBay Finds. Every month I'd like to pick up a few things from eBay and see how they roll out. I will NOT be purchasing any knock off makeup for this feature, because while I love an honest dupe, I absolutely hate a shady knock off. Know what I mean? No knock offs in eBay finds.

Anyway, for my first eBay finds, I have a set of lip liners from Me Now Generation II. You may remember a while back I featured the $1 liquid lipsticks from eBay that were by the same brand. This brand seems to be getting a lot of attention recently (probably because it's almost ridiculous how cheap their products are), so I decided to give their 12 piece lip liner set a try!
